Sheffield-based bridal designer and MNT Member, Kate Beaumont, has unveiled her newest bridalwear collection — a beautifully refined evolution of her timeless aesthetic, and slow-bridal approach.

For over a decade, Kate Beaumont has been one of the North’s most loved independent bridal designers, known for creating understated, luxurious wedding dresses for modern brides who value comfort, craft and individuality. Since founding her label in 2012, Kate has championed a slow, considered approach to bridal fashion: designing and hand-making every gown from her light-filled studio in Sheffield, with sustainability, wearability and timeless design at the heart of everything she creates.

Her newest collection is a continuation that philosophy, with fresh silhouettes, tactile fabrics and a sense of quiet confidence.

A New Era of Slow Bridal

Kate’s designs have always been about longevity, flexibility and a deeply personal dress experience.

The collection is comprised of 18 new designs — eight gowns, one jumpsuit, five tops and four skirts. Each piece has been well-considered, with innovative new shapes. Think bias-cut silk slips, textured separates, soft dropped waists and unexpected details that feel modern without ever overshadowing the wearer.

As always, versatility is built into every piece. Brides can mix and match tops, skirts and slips, or pair the new designs with favourites from the Icons collection to create a look that feels entirely their own.

“Much of the inspiration comes from the amazing brides I work with… It’s about creating a collection that fulfils real women’s wishes for how they want to look and feel, rather than conforming to ‘set’ bridal looks.”

Sustainable Fabrics

Sustainability, is at the core of Kate’s process. Each gown is made to order in her Sheffield studio using luxurious natural fabrics… silk satin, hammered satin and matte marocain — along with a brand-new organic embroidered organza that brings a lightness and movement to the collection.

Standout pieces include Love in a Mist, an elegant interpretation of the contemporary dropped-waist silhouette, offering structure that’s soft, never restrictive.

The Viburnum jumpsuit is another highlight: cloud-like organza sleeves paired with sandwashed silk marocain trousers create a relaxed yet elevated look for brides wanting something alternative.

Made-to-Order, Made-to-Measure, Made for You

One of the defining features of Kate Beaumont bridalwear is the bespoke nature of each gown. Because every piece is made to order in her studio, brides can request thoughtful adjustments — a sleeve addition, a raised back, a lowered neckline, ensuring that every design fits both their body and their personal style.

Kate’s subtle colour options also go beyond traditional white or ivory. Soft oyster, graphite grey, bronze, forest green and powder blue allow brides to choose shades that express who they are.

“Just like my previous designs, the aim of the latest collection is to make brides feel 100% themselves, but on a really good day — so the most comfortable, confident and beautiful version of themselves,”
