I create bespoke, tailored clothing using vintage machines and traditional British tailoring techniques. My work is inspired by the country music culture of my native Texas, the embroidered suits worn by country music stars and the natural beauty of my adopted home of Yorkshire. Every garment is designed to feel personal, expressive and rooted in craft.

I worked as a tailor and embroiderer for Manuel Couture, where I made rhinestone suits for country music royalty with the man who dressed Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, the Beatles and many more icons.
I have also trained in Savile Row cutting and tailoring methods so I can combine the best of British suit making with the Western Wear traditions of the American South. This blend of skills allows me to create garments that feel authentic, characterful and made with precision.
I can also customise your existing garments. Think denim jackets for you and your bridesmaids or groomsmen, hand embroidered banners or even live stitching at your event. If you want something personal and handmade for your wedding, I would love to create it.

Sustainability is at the heart of Long Time Gone. I use deadstock and vintage materials wherever possible so each piece is kind to the earth and completely unique. Nothing I make is mass produced. Everything is crafted with intention.
Long Time Gone brings together almost twenty years of my life in academia as a research physicist with my lifelong love of textile arts and clothing making. It allows me to combine scientific precision with my creative drive to build garments that are as individual as the wearer.
