We know how that sounds. Every event says it's different. We've been doing this since 2019, and this year we've taken it further than we ever have — because we've built something we've never done before.
On Sunday 4 October 2026, at Kachette in Shoreditch, we're bringing the actual moments to life at full scale. The toast at your engagement party. The atmosphere of your wedding day. Not a mood board, not a stand, not a leaflet — the real thing, months before it's your turn.

Why We Built A New Kind Of Wedding Fair
Since 2019, our events — formerly The Un-Wedding Show — have connected over 10,000 couples with some of the UK's most inspiring independent wedding suppliers. Then everyone else caught up and started doing the same. So we built something new.
Every couple we've worked with across a decade of Make New Traditions tells us some version of the same story: they started planning excited, full of ideas, half in love with the possibility of it all. Somewhere around supplier number forty, that excitement curdled into overwhelm — too many tabs open, too little curation, too many people trying to sell to them instead of talk to them.
One Day. Three Phases. A Whole Feeling.
Rather than one flat room of stands, Make New Traditions: Live is designed around your natural wedding planning journey — three distinct, fully built spaces, one ticket, one afternoon that will change how you picture your own day.
Phase One: The Engagement
The toast, the laughter, the flowers, the first proper celebration of the two of you — built as a real mini engagement party, not a demo. Sponsored by the cool and creative Dinner Ladies — one of London's most esteemed event caterers — with welcome drinks from Laylo, styling by Orange Tree Weddings, and a live DJ setting the tone. Real drinks. Real food. Real atmosphere. It could be your own.

Phase Two: The Planning
This is where the overwhelm melts away and the excitement takes over. Phase Three: The Wedding

Important: Due to the nature of this event each session is capped at 150 people. Our events have never been about thousands of people shuffling past each other.
