See you there?

Words by Ben MNT

Just got engaged? Congratulations. Now forget everything you thought you knew about wedding fairs. The Un-Wedding Show is back on the 18th and 19th October 2025 at Kachette, Shoreditch. A Wedding Show / Daytime Disco for those couples who want to break the mould and make new traditions.

This is not your average expo filled with chair covers and teeth whitening stands. The Un-Wedding Show is about individuality, creativity and a big dose of fun. It is where modern lovers meet the UK’s most exciting independent suppliers who, like them, do not follow the rulebook either.

Why The Un-Wedding Show?

Because traditional wedding fairs can feel… well, a bit same-y. Rows of stands, endless leaflets, copy / paste packages that we’ve seen a million times before. We wanted more, we wanted real inspiration - so we made it!

  • Curated creativity: every exhibitor is handpicked because they bring something fresh, stylish, and original.

  • Inclusive and diverse: whoever you are, whoever you love, this space is for you.

  • Inspiration-first: think mood boards, installations, and ideas to spark your imagination, not sales patter.

  • The venue: Kachette, an iconic Shoreditch railway arch with industrial vibes, perfect for modern couples looking for an oldscool club / warehouse aesthetic.

If traditional wedding shows do not speak your language, this one definitely will.

What You Will Find at The Un-Wedding Show

This is where you will meet some of the most exciting and original suppliers in the modern wedding world. Each one has been carefully chosen for their creativity, individuality, and commitment to helping you design a day that feels unapologetically yours.

Creative Photographers and Videographers

Forget stiff poses and awkward smiles. Our photographers know how to capture the real story of your day. Lisa Jane Photography, Sidey Clark, Natalia Case Photography, and Jordanna Marston specialise in natural, unposed images that document the raw energy, laughter, and emotion of your celebration. For couples looking for something even edgier, Shooting Daggers brings a bold, alternative perspective that truly stands out.

Independent Florists and Jewellery Designers

If flowers are your love language, we have them in abundance - The Brighton Florist, JC Floristry, and Studio Clarissa. These florists create statement pieces that transform spaces into works of art. Pair that with jewellery from Viki Pearce Jewellery, where every piece is hand-crafted with individuality in mind, and you will have details that elevate your look and last far beyond the wedding day.

DJs and Celebrants

Music and ceremony are the heartbeat of your wedding, and we have you covered. Mr + Mrs L will be on hand to show you exactly why their sets fill dancefloors across the UK, while Cat The Celebrant and Cherry + Fern Celebrations bring personality and warmth to ceremonies that are anything but off-the-shelf.

Photobooths and Audio Guestbooks

Capture the energy of your guests with a stylish photobooth or the rising trend of audio guestbooks. I Just Called To Say create pop-art / retro-inspired guestbooks that let your friends and family leave spoken memories, heartfelt wishes, or hilarious late-night messages you will treasure forever.

Stylish Wedding Attire and Accessories

From bold bridal looks to alternative styling, our fashion-forward suppliers will help you create a look that reflects your personality. My Bridal Stylist offer modern bridalwear with attitude, while Megan Crook and My Colour Is Gold deliver stand-out accessories and vibrant designs for couples who love colour and texture. Grooming and styling get the alternative touch too, with vintage hair and beauty by Le Keux.

Cakes, Stationery and Art

Wedding details that spark conversation. Gob Cake can seemingly turn ANYTHING into a cake (even you), while Bee Davies Illustration can immortalise your day in bold, artistic style. For stationery and signage that sets the tone, Edlyl combines modern design with personal touches that make every piece unique.

Extra Inspiration

For those looking beyond the obvious, check out Alice Green for bespoke wedding tattoos, Powder Blue Artistry for striking hair and make-up, or East London Bride for planning guidance that cuts through the noise. Venue inspiration comes courtesy of The Village Underground, an iconic East London space perfect for couples who want atmosphere, history, and edge.
