Meet Bruna

I first started painting wedding invitations because a friend asked me to design hers. I said yes without really knowing what I was getting into — I just wanted to make something that felt like her. That one favour turned into Bruna Andrade: Studio, and it's been the throughline of everything I've made since: stationery that tells a couple's actual story, not a template with their names swapped in.

I trained as a lawyer in Brazil, then moved to New York to study fashion, before landing a job in London illustrating historic buildings by hand for a souvenir brand. I realised what I loved most wasn't any single discipline — it was translating a person, a place, or a feeling into something you could hold. Watercolour turned out to be the medium that let me do that best, and weddings turned out to be the moment where it mattered most.

Stationery That Tells Your Story

Every suite I paint is bespoke — from the invitations through to the menus, crests, monograms and venue illustrations that carry through the day. I start every project with a "getting to know you" questionnaire. I ask couples about their favourite artists, the details of how they met, the places that shaped them — because I think stationery should do more than look good. It should help your guests find their seats, know what's for dinner, and feel like they've stepped into your world the second the invitation lands in their hands.

My job is to find the version of your wedding that's unmistakably you, whether that's classical and quiet or bold and maximalist, and paint it by hand.

I work with couples across the UK, the US, Europe and Brazil, and I paint every single piece myself, start to finish. No templates, no AI, just watercolour, care, and a genuine curiosity about your story.
