Essex, The UK & Beyond

Novae Bakery is run by me - Becky, a London and Essex-based wedding cake designer obsessed with all things marble, print and pattern related. Bright and bold, none of my wedding cakes are the same and each are completely unique using fondant.

I previously worked full time in the fashion industry with baking as my side hobby, but having a degree in textile design wanted to focus back on creativity. My main inspirations are ceramics, glassware, traditional marbling, and interiors. More is more!

Bespoke and Unique design

All my bespoke wedding cakes are designed first on Photoshop then hand rolled into real life fondant cakes. No painting, everything you see is incorporated into the fondant itself.

Flavours

Chocolate Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting and blackcurrant jam is my best seller, but all of my flavours are created to be non traditional and a bit unexpected. I like to play with combinations that feel bold and different, with a focus on flavour as well as design, and they don’t tend to stick around for long!

Allergens/Tolerances

Everyone should get cake, so I cater to whatever you need. Whether that’s dietary requirements, allergies or specific preferences, I always do my best to create something that works for you without compromising on design or flavour.

Location

When I say I travel anywhere for cakes, I really mean it - I’m a London and Essex wedding cake maker covering the UK and beyond. I’ve made cakes in Wales, Cornwall and Ireland, and have 2 in Paris this year, so I’m always up for going wherever the cake needs to be.
